Notes:

Northland Regional Council has recently established its own nursery and will be producing plant material from winter 2016. Until then NRC sources poplars and willows both locally and throughout the North Island for erosion control purposes. Poles are subsidised if clients sign an agreement for the primary purpose of erosion control and agree to maintain supplied material to carry out this function.
