NZPWRT 10 year Strategy

As climate change, erosion and changing land-use pressures continue to challenge New Zealand’s landscapes, the New Zealand Poplar and Willow Research Trust (NZPWRT) has developed a clear direction for the decade ahead.

At a recent webinar, NZPWRT introduced their Strategy 2026-2036 (Overview), where they shared their vision for the future, the strategic priorities that will guide their work, and how they plan to strengthen research, extension and partnerships to support resilient landscapes and productive farming systems.
